About the event
Project Onward is excited to partner with the Lemont Center for the Arts to present a special pop-up exhibition at Pollyanna Brewing Company in Lemont, Illinois. This collaboration celebrates the power of art to connect communities and create meaningful opportunities for artists.
Artwork by Project Onward artists will be on view throughout the bar for several weeks, highlighting the work of artists whose lives are impacted by mental illness and developmental disabilities.
On Friday, April 17, we invite you to join us for a special Portrait Slam, where Project Onward artists will create custom hand-drawn portraits live during the event. Sit for a portrait yourself, bring a friend, or have an artist draw from a photo of someone you love. It’s a fun opportunity to meet the artists, watch them work, and take home a one-of-a-kind artwork.
