Artist
Andrew Hall b. 1986, Chicago, IL

From an early age, Project Onward's Andrew Hall has been inspired by architecture, infatuated with trains, and obsessed with drawing. The artist's first solo exhibition features the tiny, meticulously detailed ink drawings for which he is well known. A close observer of all things, Hall has emerged as one of the star portrait artists of Project Onward, his subjects stare with arresting gaze at the viewer. Whether trains, architecture, or the human form, his work exemplifies how an artist can build up an image entirely of minute components to describe a particular place or mood.
