About the event
Join Project Onward for the opening of Between Us, a collaborative international exhibition created in partnership with Atelier Corners.
This exhibition brings together neurodiverse artists from the sister cities of Chicago and Osaka through a unique mail-based exchange. Artists began individual works that were sent overseas to be completed by a peer, resulting in shared pieces that merge distinct visual languages, cultural perspectives, and lived experiences.
Each artwork is a conversation across borders. By bridging distance and difference while highlighting creativity as a universal form of connection. Between Us celebrates collaboration, collective authorship, and the vital contributions of artists with disabilities within the global contemporary art landscape.
