“Let’s Get Cookin!” “That Was Then and This is Now!” “Ring Out the Old and Ring in the New!” Adam Hines (b. 1985) is the king of the exclamation point. Enthusiastic aphorisms pepper his vibrant drawings as well as his everyday conversations. “Keep on Rollin’”, Hines’ first solo show, puts this infectious positivity and forward-moving energy on full display.
A founding member of Project Onward, Hines is a prolific artist who has created over 10,000 individual pieces. In color pencil and marker, he depicts what he’s coined “The World Tour” - an extensive listing of places, people, animals, and global phenomena. His artwork also literally serves as a road map by including directions to his featured sites via road, air and public transit.
