About the event

Twice the venues, twice the fun, one jam-packed day!

Festival: 12 - 6 pm

Grace Church of Logan Square: 3325 W Wrightwood Ave.

Ticketed Show/Reading: 8 pm - late

Hairpin Arts Center: 2810 N Milwaukee Ave.

We’re excited to participate in the first-ever Zine Not Dead Fest! This event brings together comics and small press artists and publishers from around the world to Chicago. The fest is free and open to the public, featuring over 80 exhibitors, engaging panels with our artists, and hands-on workshops. Our illustrious illustrator Stephon Doby is gracing this first-of-a-kind fair as a featured artist and panelist! From 1 - 2 pm, Steph will be joined by three fellow Project Onward heavyweights: Bill Douglas, Cherylle Booker, and Louis DeMarco for a panel discussing their work thoughts on the creative process, storytelling, and neurodiversity.
