Perpetual Motion Machine: A Comic Art Spectacle

Perpetual Motion Machine: A Comic Art Spectacle

Seven Project Onward artists join forces for “PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINE” - a wild, weird, and hilarious comics anthology, exhibition, and reading! There’s sci-fi gender-bending from Stephon Doby, a post-apocalyptic adventure by Alfred Banks, a “very online” fantasy from Sophie Frohlich, Jacqueline Cousins’ pro-wrestling drama, an absurdist sitcom by Louis DeMarco, Jayson Hallberg’s sweet portrait of a friend, and lots of existential yuks from Frederick Nitsch. The exhibition (running through Nov. 15) features original comics pages as well as drawings and paintings from each creator’s narrative universe.

LIVE COMICS READING

SUN 11/09 @ THE RAMOVA THEATER 2:00 - 4:00 PM

The artists step to the mic & bring their stories to life. Laughs! Drama! Weird sounds! Featuring a guest reading by Ignatz-nominated superstar GINA WYNBRANDT!
